Nambu Ironware Iron Teapot Woodgrain Rouge 0.6L
Specifications: Not enameled, oxidized coating finish from kettle firing, movable handle, tea strainer included
The popular wood grain is now available in a special color: rouge.
The entire iron kettle shines with a seductive purple color, creating an impressive finish that is reminiscent of a chic, mature woman.
At first glance it appears black, but the reflected light gives it a glossy purple hue.
It is available in a pot-baked version that can be used over an open flame to supplement your iron intake.
The traditional technique of kiln firing involves baking the cast iron kettle again at 800 degrees, forming a coating called black rust on the inside. This is an essential process for allowing the iron and water to dissolve.
Origin of the design
We would like to offer Nambu ironware that fits in with a variety of interior styles, both Western and Japanese.
The wood grain pattern was born from many design sketches.
The knob is decorated with a small flower bud.
Because it is tall, the capacity is 0.6L, which is larger than the Ko-arare and Hisago.
The tea strainer is tall and spacious, allowing the tea leaves to open up well.
It can be used not only for boiling water every day, but also as a teapot.
*When using with IH200V or above, please use low to medium heat.
(We have confirmed that it works with 100V and 200V, but it may not work with some IH appliances, so please contact the manufacturer for more information.)
*Due to the manufacturing process, the size, weight, and capacity of the product may differ slightly from the stated measurements.
*The handle can be folded down.
* Rubbing the surface too hard with a scrubbing pad or similar may cause the paint to peel off.
★Recommended usage
In recent years, drinking hot water boiled in an iron kettle has been drawing attention as it can be expected to have a detoxifying effect as well as provide iron. It is the perfect size for boiling a cup of hot water every morning.
*Precautions when using a teapot
When using it as a teapot, just as when boiling water, be careful not to leave any water inside.
The color of the tea will darken due to a reaction between the tannins in the tea and the iron, but please rest assured that this is not harmful.
We have heard that the reaction between the iron and tea components mellows out bitter and other unpleasant flavors, making the tea smoother and more palatable.
