Nambu Cast Iron Tetsubin "Hiramaru Arare" — 1.2L

Sale price¥35,940

<Specifications> No enamel lining; unglazed, finished with an oxide film by kiln firing; movable handle

The arare (hailstone) pattern is the signature design of Nambu ironware.
The arare on this Hiramaru Arare is especially fine, making for a particularly beautiful and delicate design.
Its flat shape and wide base not only bring water to the boil quickly but also give it a reassuring sense of stability.

◎ Oitomi's kiln-fired tetsubin
The grey color inside the kettle is the mark of the traditional kiln-firing (kamayaki) process. This finish is essential to the tetsubin's true character: replenishing iron in the water you drink.

◎ Highlights
• The most classic arare tetsubin in Nambu ironware
• The handle folds down, making it easy to fill from the tap and easy to store
