However, you should know that there are also very high quality Zhengshan Xiaozhong teas with a fragrant aroma.
Zhengsan Xiaozhong tea is broadly divided into two types: fragrant type and fruity type.
The recently released Zhengshan Xiaozhong Qizhong Traditional Style is a high-end version of Zhengshan Xiaozhong with a fragrant aroma, and is a very delicious tea. When it comes to high-end Zhengshan Xiaozhong, the most common are teas with a fruity aroma and no fragrant aroma, such as Qizhong, Xiao Red Sweet, Feizi Xiao, and Jin Jun Mei. Our shop has been selling the product Zhengshan Xiaozhong Traditional Style up until now, but we have now purchased a higher grade tea, Zhengshan Xiaozhong Qi Zhong Zhong Traditional Style. This tea uses a type of tea called "Qi Zhong" that is naturally grown at an altitude of about 1,300m, and is a rare tea leaf ingredient that is used to make the high-quality Zhengshan Xiaozhong tea.
In the three processes of withering, fermentation, and drying, high-quality teas use heat from burning pine trees. In this case, it is essential to use old pine trees with a diameter of 1m. Our Zhengshan Xiaozhong Qizu Traditional Style has a pine-like fragrance and a dried longan-like fragrance from black tea, and is an elegant tea with a very long aftertaste that permeates deep into the body.
In addition, there is no specific name for this high-quality Zhengshan Xiaozhong locally, and different producers use different names. Our Zhengshan Xiaozhong Qiozhong Traditional Style is made from tea that is locally called Qiozhong, so we named it after it.
A giant pine tree with a diameter of 1m
One of the important points in the production of Zhengshan Sozhong is the quality of the pine trees. The higher the quality of the tea, the older the pine trees used, so it is not enough to just use any pine tree.
Old pine trees grow very slowly and contain a high density of minerals, which allows them to produce a long-lasting, elegant fragrance. The Zhengshan Xiaozhong Quizhong Traditional Style incense we carry is made from giant pine trees measuring one meter in diameter, so even with the same incense, the fragrance feels deeper and seems to permeate every part of your body.
