How to brew tea (E) >

"No other tea in Lishan is comparable"... the masterpiece of high mountain tea

Lishan tea is made from tea leaves grown in high mountains at an altitude of 2,400 meters. HOJO sources tea from tea plantations that have received high praise in past tea tasting competitions, and offers a lineup of winter teas with the best balance of aroma and sweetness.

In Japan, this is about the same height as the fifth station of Mount Fuji, and the unique high mountain climate transforms the tea into one that resembles an alpine plant, creating an aroma that is both floral and citrus, and is unforgettable once you have tried it.

The aroma of the tea is reminiscent of oranges or limes. In addition to the clean, refreshing scent, you can also feel the sweet, floral scent.

This high mountain tea has an elegant aroma and a refined drinking experience that is admired by HOJO staff.

A refreshing and elegant aroma and sweetness, making it an elegant drink.

The aroma of the tea is reminiscent of oranges or limes. In addition to the clean, refreshing scent, you can also feel the sweet, floral scent.

Many customers are impressed by the fruity aroma that hits their nose when they take a sip of the tea.

The scent is similar to that of high-quality Tieguanyin, but can be described as more citrusy and sweet.

A masterpiece nurtured in Lishan

There are many types of tea in Taiwan that are called high mountain teas, but Lishan tea always reigns at the top.

Lishan's unique soil, alpine climate, and harsh winters give it a strong citrus aroma and an elegant, sweet aftertaste not found in other high mountain teas.

What is Lishan tea selected by HOJO?

At HOJO, we source from tea plantations that have received high praise in past tea competitions, and we offer a lineup of winter teas with the best balance of aroma and sweetness.

At HOJO, we have absolute confidence in our Lishan tea, which is Taiwan's finest high mountain tea.

The difference is in the tea leaves

When you pour boiling water into a teapot, a tablespoon of tea leaves will expand to fill the teapot. If you have time, take out some tea leaves and observe them.

You will notice that the tea leaves maintain their shape when they are freshly picked, and each leaf is soft. Only the paired leaves containing the new buds are picked in the winter, and then carefully processed, allowing the leaves to retain their original shape.

Smooth and easy to drink

The tea has no bitterness at all. It goes down smoothly, like fruit juice, and it doesn't put a strain on the stomach, so it's popular with people with weak stomachs.

The color and aroma lasts for up to 7 brews

Another feature of high-quality Lishan tea is that it can be brewed many times. Even after the seventh brew, the color and aroma will still be intact.

By using just one light tablespoon (5g) of tea leaves, you can enjoy about 1 liter of tea.
