Product details of Black Iron Kannon

This tea is made by roasting iron goddess in a special way.
This tea is made from Anxi Tieguanyin oolong tea and is finished by charcoal roasting in a special way.
Charcoal roasting is not just about a high temperature; we combine two temperatures, high and low, to achieve both the fragrant aroma unique to black oolong tea and the sweet aroma reminiscent of dried fruit when put in the mouth.
Because it is grown in tea plantations at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, the tea has a deep flavor, a strong lingering aroma, a rich taste, and is very satisfying to drink.

Tea that meets Japanese pesticide standards
Kurotetsu Kannon is produced in tea plantations where pesticide management is carried out in accordance with European (EU) standards, but just to be on the safe side, we had the German analytical laboratory SGS analyze the approximately 400 types of pesticides in accordance with Japanese pesticide standards, and confirmed that it complies with Japanese standards before purchasing it.
The Kurotetsu Kannon was produced in 2016. After being imported, it was heated in a dryer to enhance its freshness and to mature it before being released.
A mysterious taste with a sweetness that spreads throughout the aroma
If you are making Black Iron Kannon, use boiling water. If you do it well, you can make more than 1 liter with 5g.
The aroma is very fragrant, with a unique scent reminiscent of caramel and dried dates, and some people may associate it with sweet tea. The sweetness spreads in your mouth, and the aroma and sweetness linger for a while.
It has a deep flavor but is clean to drink, making it a perfect match for any meal, whether Japanese, Western or Chinese.

Cold-brewed Black Iron Kannon for the hot summer
Black Iron Kannon is a tea that goes very well with cold brewing. By cold brewing, the taste and aroma become milder, and it turns into a luxurious drink with a fragrant aroma and a sweet taste.
Cold brewing is extremely easy. Just put 5g of tea leaves in 1 liter of water and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours. If you brew it overnight, it will be ready to drink in the morning.
If you like, you can dilute it further. Cold brewed tea can be drunk for several days if kept in the refrigerator, so it's convenient to keep it in the refrigerator during hot seasons like now.
The aroma is similar to that of barley tea, and it is very popular among children. Generally, barley tea has a short aftertaste, but the aftertaste of the Black Iron Kannon is strong, so it is satisfying to drink and has a very deep flavor.
When making cold brew tea, be careful to avoid containers with aluminum, copper, or colored glass interiors. The metals in the materials can ruin the flavor.
In addition, when making cold brew, using water that has been boiled and then cooled will bring out more aroma. This is because the calcium bicarbonate in the water changes to calcium carbonate when boiled.
However, since cold-brewed tea is something you drink on a daily basis, you may not need to be so particular about it.

Oolong tea that goes surprisingly well with milk
Another delicious way to drink Black Iron Guanyin is to make it into milk tea. When you think of milk tea, you may think of black tea, but strongly roasted oolong tea is a tea that goes surprisingly well with milk.
When making milk tea with Black Iron Guanyin, brew it as strong as possible using a small amount of hot water and mix it with fresh milk.
Black Iron Kannon tea leaves are stable to heat, so even if you pour hot water over them and leave them for 5-10 minutes, the aroma will hardly deteriorate. I love making iced milk tea with Black Iron Kannon.
Some people like to add sugar, but this tea is naturally sweet, so I think it's delicious even without sugar.
When it comes to black tea with milk, the image is that the milk enhances the flavor of the black tea, but in the case of Black Iron Kannon, it seems like the tea enhances the flavor of the milk.
The milk is imparted with a subtle fragrant aroma, making it a very addictive drink.
